Yvette D. Penn was born in a quaint little town outside of Charleston, West.Virginia. She later moved to Northern Virginia in 1978 where she finished school at T.C. Williams H.S., and later went on to achieve a Bachelor's degree from Strayer University in Computer Information Systems in 1994.
Yvette, in her spare time (when not working overtime as a Systems Engineer) loves writing poetry about life and her perceptions of it.
Although Yvette does not perceive herself as accomplished a poet as many of her associates, she writes heart warming life poetry that is both realistic and is the kind of thing that can make you go "hmmmm".
Although Yvette has been writing for many years, she feels her best work is still yet to come. So she continues to write and bless the world with her gift.
